Behind Orbiso stand primarily professionals from practice and academia – doctors, nurses, psychologists and other specialists from Masarykova univerzita and Masarykův onkologický ústav, who work with patients every day and know the real needs of healthcare. Their experience determines how the platform should work so that it is truly useful in everyday practice. Bindworks, a company with long experience developing healthcare apps and digitalising care, and Debono Interactive, a specialist in user research, design and marketing, take part in the technical realisation.
Vision for the future
Orbiso's goal is to put in professionals' hands a tool that enables them to easily and quickly translate their knowledge and methods into a digital form – without losing personal contact, and on the contrary with the possibility of deepening care. Patients will benefit from that, but the key is that healthcare professionals have an environment that is simple, safe and fully under their control. Only then can digital healthcare work long-term, humanely and meaningfully. The long-term vision is then a targeted improvement in quality of life.
